Since its founding, Fundación Camino al Plato has remained committed to creating meaningful change in the lives of student-athletes across Puerto Rico by leveraging the power of sports and education. Through its scholarship programs, free clinics, and competitive tournaments, the
Foundation continues to open doors for young individuals to grow, develop, and reach their full potential—both on and off the field.
Throughout the years, this commitment has translated into tangible impact. The Foundation has awarded 36 academic and athletic scholarships to student-athletes attending private schools, while also organizing free baseball and softball clinics that have reached and positively influenced more than 1,000 children and teenagers island-wide.
This work is made possible through the continued generosity of our donors and the unwavering commitment of our founder, Tom Axon, who personally covers all administrative and operational expenses— ensuring that every contribution goes directly toward creating a meaningful impact.
To date, Fundacion Camino al Plato has invested over $293,000 in tuition assistance, reinforcing its mission to empower youth and strengthen their academic, athletic, and personal development throughout Puerto Rico.
Thanks to the events held over the Christmas season and the Super Bowl Weekend, the Foundation was able to raise a total of $113,476, further strengthening its ability to continue providing opportunities for the youth we serve.
BUILDING FUTURES: SUPER BOWL WEEKEND RECAP
Fundación Camino al Plato hosted the first edition of its holiday fundraising event, A Christmas to Remember, in December 2025—an initiative that captured the true spirit of the season while bringing the community together in support of a meaningful cause. This event will become a yearly tradition.
Over the course of two unforgettable days, dozens of families, children, community members, and partners came together to celebrate in an atmosphere filled with joy, gratitude, and unity. The event featured live music by The Cutouts, interactive inflatables, festive activities, and continuous entertainment that created a vibrant and welcoming space for all attendees.

BUILDING FUTURES: SUPER BOWL WEEKEND RECAP
Fundación Camino al Plato hosted its special annual fundraising event, Super Bowl Weekend, drawing strong support from over one hundred of attendees who filled both events to capacity on February , ys 7 and 8, 2026, in San Juan. On Saturday, February 7, the public gathered at Handlebar on Kennedy Avenue, where guests enjoyed live music by The Cutouts—whose members are also part of the Foundation—in a night defined by community support and commitment to the cause.
The following day, Sunday, February 8, the celebration continued at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, where attendees came
together to watch the Super Bowl in a family-friendly and supportive atmosphere. We also got to hear directly from our — scholarship recipients, who each addressed the Stream The Cutouts : crowd with thoughts about what the LISTEN ON Spotify foundation means to them.
More than one hundred attendees. joined this initiative, once again demonstrating that when a community comes together, the impact is real. Funds raised during Super Bowl Weekend will be used to strengthen scholarship programs and support for student-athletes, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to the future of youth.
Building the Future:
Fundación Camino al Plato Hosts Successful Baseball Clinics in Carolina on April 22, 2026 carried out a series of baseball clinics in Carolina, bringing together more than 100 young athletes for a day centered on learning, discipline, and personal growth.
> welcomed boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15, offering them a unique opportunity to develop their skills on the field while embracing values that extend far beyond the game.
Throughout each session, participants engaged in structured activities designed to strengthen fundamentals, improve f, performance, and foster a deeper understanding of teamwork and responsibility.
The event was made possible with the collaboration of the Municipality of Carolina and the Gigantes del Béisbol Superior, whose support helped create an environment where young athletes could thrive and feel inspired.
For Fundación Camino al Plato, initiatives like these are an essential part of its mission—to continue guiding and supporting the next generation through education and sports. The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation reaffirm the impact of these efforts and the importance of creating spaces where youth can grow both on and off the field.

As part of this commitment, the Foundation will actively pursue and strengthen strategic partnerships with municipalities, sports programs, and key leaders in athletic development, creating a collaborative network that allows us to reach more communities and maximize our impact.

As an organization committed to expanding opportunities and combating child poverty, Fundación Camino al Plato qualifies under Act 22-2012 and Act 60-2019.
